On behalf of St Thomas More's Catholic School, I welcome you to our energetic and vibrant learning community.
Our mission and vision at St Thomas More's is to cater for the holistic growth and flourishing of every child: "Inspired by Christ we are a community of lifelong learners becoming the people God created us to be".
Our school is blessed to be founded through the Josephite tradition and this tradition of treasuring every single child continues to be very much valued and practised at St Thomas More’s School today. Seeing a need and responding to that need is our active charism engendered by the Sisters of St Joseph.
St Thomas More’s Catholic School has excellent and modern facilities that support the learning and teaching of our qualified and enthusiastic staff. We provide comprehensive programs in all curriculum areas, academically we are achieving above the national averages, we offer many cocurricular opportunities for every child and have developed a strong pastoral and wellbeing program to support every child to understand that they are valued as one of God's beautiful creations.
It is our thriving community spirit that makes our school special. Parents, staff and children are free to contribute to the life and decision making of the school. Every child is welcome at our school, no matter where they are on their journey of learning and development. We will ensure that we cater for and recognise each individual child’s needs and strengths, and their measure of success will be their engagement in the life of the school community and growth into a St Thomas More's person of respect, empathy, dignity, justice and integrity.

“To be educated, a person doesn't have to know much or be informed, but he or she does have to have been exposed vulnerably to the transformative events of an engaged human life.”
